Most services bring a folding table and a speed rail. This is something else — a menu written for your night, mixed from real ingredients, batched and run so the room never sees the work, only the result. Ten guests or two thousand, the standard never moves.

Behind the Bar

Jason Asher.

Juniper & Jigger is led by founding partner Jason Asher — a nationally recognized culinary professional and acclaimed mixologist based in Phoenix, who blends culinary technique with modern cocktail craft to build programs that are as technically refined as they are genuinely approachable.

A graduate of the California Culinary Academy, his work has been featured in Esquire, Food & Wine, GQ, Imbibe, Saveur, and The Wall Street Journal. His bar program was named Best U.S. Cocktail Bar at the 2023 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards and ranked on North America’s 50 Best Bars in both 2023 and 2024. He won Food Network’s Chopped in 2017 and was named GQ & Bombay Sapphire’s Most Imaginative Bartender in 2010.

Beyond the accolades, he’s known for his mentorship and his commitment to the hospitality community. When he isn’t developing new concepts, he’s traveling, hiking, or spending time with his wife, Kailee, and their family.

What size events do you serve?

Groups from 10 to 2,000. The same craft and standard apply whether it’s an intimate dinner, a 150-guest wedding, or a two-thousand-person gala — only the planning, batching, and staffing scale up to match.

Based in Phoenix, the service covers the full Valley — Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert — as well as Sedona, Flagstaff, and destinations beyond Arizona for the right event. Travel for out-of-area work is quoted as part of your proposal.

Every event is priced on its own — guest count, format, menu, bar setup, and location all factor in. Rather than a flat per-head rate, you receive a transparent quote built around the specific night, so you only pay for what your event actually calls for. Share your details through the inquiry form for a custom estimate.

You provide the alcohol, and we handle everything else. The host purchases the spirits, wine, and beer — and you’ll receive a precise, menu-specific shopping list so you buy exactly what’s needed and nothing more. We bring the bar, tools, ice, mixers, fresh juices, house-made syrups, garnishes, and glassware, fully set up and run.

Yes — that’s the heart of it. Each menu is written for your night, built around your guests, the season, and the occasion, with classic and historically grounded recipes done properly. Signature drinks for weddings and named cocktails for brand activations are a specialty.

As early as possible — 90 days or more is recommended to secure your date, especially during Arizona’s busy season. Shorter timelines can sometimes be accommodated for smaller gatherings, so it’s always worth asking.

Yes. Festivals, galas, and fundraisers are run with the logistics, batching, and pacing of a permanent bar program — drawing on three decades of building and operating multi-unit beverage programs at scale.
